Where in the world are scooter adventurers Bob and Buddy today? Zoom in and see for yourself at www.noagelimitpiaggio.us/, courtesy of the unique new Google Earth mapping technology just added to the ride web site.

Seventy-something riders Bob Chase and Buddy Rosenbaum have seen some of the most remote places in the world on two wheels, from the vast expanse of the Saharan desert to bird’s eye views from the Himalayas. Now, thanks to the latest Google Earth mapping technology, the world can zero in on every turn of the their three-wheeled, Piaggio MP3 scooters as they Geoblog their way across the historic Lincoln Highway, America’s first transcontinental highway.

Once per day, the Google PhotoMap is updated with gorgeous images from the riders’ journey - allowing anyone to pinpoint precisely where The Lincoln Highway’s most dramatic scenery
and historic landmarks are located. The site’s Google ProgressMap, updated throughout each day, displays their route, the time and details of their experiences along the way.

Check out the site, post your comments or just see what everyone else is saying about this cross-country scooter mission (a fuel-efficient one, at that). From a PBS crew shooting an upcoming documentary of the Highway to Harley riders, Bob and Buddy have been feeling the love. The Great American Road Trip – on view globally at www.noagelimitpiaggio.us/.
