GEARBAG: Triumph Steve McQueen Special Edition Jacket 2
This jacket commemorates the unique relationship that actor Steve McQueen had with Triumph Motorcycles.
Special Edition Triumph Steve McQueen Jacket
This jacket commemorates the unique relationship that actor Steve McQueen had with Triumph Motorcycles. The jacket is an updated version of the jacket McQueen wore during the International 6 Days Trial competition. It features a technically advanced waterproof micro fiber outer fabric bonded directly onto the waterproof, breathable and windproof Tri-Tex membrane. There is a hidden storm flap up the front zipper to keep the elements out.
The jacket’s outer shell is soft to the touch, and has 2 outside zippered hand warmer pockets, and side adjustment zippers. The full-sleeved, zip-out, quilted liner has its own set of two zippered hip pockets, and access to the two zippered inside breast pockets of the shell. And the liner’s sleeves are buttoned to the shell, so the liner always stays in place. CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors are easily removable and there is also a place for a back protector pad in the shell’s comfortable mesh lining.
The sleeves are rolled for comfort while holding on to the handlebars, and snug up to the wrists with a zipper and button snap. There is also a waist connection zipper supplied to attach riding pants. The adjustable neck snaps closed, but if you don’t wish to secure the top, the neck closure cleverly snaps out of the way inside the jacket. And there is a soft microfiber that surrounds the Mandarin collar for all day comfort with no chaffing.
This is a terrific jacket, that works in Spring, Summer, and Fall, in the wet or dry. It lists for $249.00.
