Last year Bill Swatt of Swatt Motorcycle Products released a ride height adjuster link for the Ducati 848 and 1098 Superbikes (shown here in natural alloy finish). This year, a short link has been added to lower (only) the ride height of the 848 and 1098 Superbikes. To complete the series, a new ride height adjustable link has been devised for the Monster, Multistrada, and ST models.
These billet alloy links are manufactured from robust aircraft-grade 6061 T6, they are equipped with left- and right-hand threaded rod end bearings, and they provide 30 mm of total adjustment center to center. Ride
height is altered by approximately plus-or-minus 1.5 inches. The short link is used for lowering purposes only.
Last year, mounted on a Touring Sport Team Ducati, Doug Polen won the SunTrust Moto-ST Championship with Swatt Rear Sets. This year the full Touring Sport endurance team, including Polen, are using Swatt clip-ons, rear sets, and ride height adjusters. A release on the new clip-ons will follow.
