GEARBAG: Black Dog Cycle Works BMW F800GS Rugged Skid Plate
Leading Dual Sport Parts Manufacturer Black Dog Cycle Works announces new Rugged Skid Plate for the BMW F800GS motorcycle

Introducing the A new addition to the Black Dog Cycle Works (BDCW) comprehensive line of rugged skid plates and motorcycle protection products was announced, with the release of their new BMW F800GS Rugged Skid Plate.
This innovative design utilizes two steel supports on the front and back to brace the skid plate from hard impacts that would typically rip off the OEM stock "skid plate" (a.k.a. splash guard), or other aftermarket skid plates that only utilize four rubber shear bolts for mounting to the bike. The rear steel support attaches to the frame of the bike, giving it greater strength and durability. Another innovative feature of this BDCW F800GS rugged skid plate is that it can be removed or installed on the bike with only two bolts. A "key hole" design in the rear of the plate secures the skid plate to the underlying framework, simplifying maintenance. Making this product even more versatile is that their design is the only known skid plate compatible with the high performance full Remus exhaust system. As with their other skid plate designs, the F800GS rugged skid plate offers more protection than any others on the market, providing full coverage of the oil cooler, oil filter, engine case, exhaust headers and catalytic converter.
