BIKES: Top 10 Winners Of 2010 Dealer Expo® Kickstart New Product Contest Announced

Advanstar Communications, Inc. – a leading provider of print, event and online media for the powersports, off-road and automotive aftermarkets – recently announced the top ten winners of the Third Annual Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo Kickstart New Product Contest, held in conjunction with the 2010 Dealer Expo. For the third year, the competition has recognized the ten hottest new products in the industry with acknowledgement and a grand prize for the attendee’s pick following Dealer Expo.

All 10 Kickstart winners’ products will be on display at the 2010 Dealer Expo, Friday, February 12 to Monday, February15, in Indianapolis, Indiana, so attendees cant a vote for the most innovative to help select the grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will receive a free 10x10 booth at the 2011 Dealer Expo and coverage on the Dealer Expo and Dealernews Web sites.

Kickstart is a program for qualified Dealer Expo exhibitors created to recognize new up-and-coming products. To participate in the 2010 Kickstart New Product Contest, companies must have been exhibitors at Dealer Expo 2010, have a new product with outstanding market appeal and the product must not have been introduced to the powersports industry prior to July 1, 2009. Companies were required to submit product information and related marketing documents including product photos via an online application.

A judging committee, made up of dealers from the show’s Full Throttle Dealer VIP Buyers Program, whittled down more than 150 submissions to select the ten winners. The ten winners received an opportunity to win a 10’x10’ booth space at Dealer Expo 2011, two product displays on the show floor and product information on www.dealerexpo.com.

The 2010 Dealer Expo will take place February 12-15, 2010 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Show dates and hours are as follows: February 12-14, at the Indiana Convention Center (booth #’s 5000 and up); and February 13-15, at the Indiana Convention Center (booth #’s 100-4999).
