SPEED's own Neale Bayly joined Sportbike Track Time this past weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park to offer full instruction to novice riders.

This past weekend I had the chance to take the Suzuki GSXR1000 to Carolina Motorsports Park to join www.sportbiketracktime.com. With an invitation to come and do some coaching with the novice riders, it was a great opportunity to spend a weekend at our home track and get some seat time on our long-term Suzuki test bike. STT is one of the countries premier track day providers, offering novice, intermediate and expert track sessions so you can ride with people of similar ability. The great news for new, or newer riders, STT offers full instruction for novice riders and track coaching for those who have advanced to intermediate. Over the last decade, I’ve attended all the best track schools in the country, so spending the weekend working with STT’s novice riders is a chance to give something back. It was a blast. Trevor and Cyndi Sadler have an excellent staff of dedicated professionals, and with their personal touch make it feel as if you are attending a family event. I had the privilege of working with some great students, and really enjoyed watching them progress as they worked through the lessons STT provide for them. These are held in an air-conditioned classroom, so with the summer heat in full force it wasn’t hard to motivate folk to get to class. Big thanks to STT for having me join in the fun, and I’m looking forward to attending more events in the near future.
