Motorcycles of Charlotte, the authorized BMW-Ducati-Triumph-MV Agusta dealership located in Matthews, North Carolina will host the inaugural Wellspring International Outreach Charity Ride on Sunday, June 10, 2012.

Wellspring International Outreach is a not-for-profit foundation, established by photojournalist Neale Bayly and retired educator Maria Fitzgerald, manned by volunteers from all over the world. It’s primary objective to raise awareness about the abandoned children of Moquegua, Peru, to help fund Sister Loretta's Hogar Belen, the orphanage there, and to continue the efforts the late Rev. Giovanni Battaglini (Father Gio) began many years ago.

The event will stage from the dealership, at 731 Westinghouse Blvd Charlotte, NC (704) 882-6106 with check-in, video and breakfast beginning at 8:00 A.M., and the first riders out at 10:00 A.M.

The ride will end with festivities at Macs Speed Shop at Steel Creek, 2414 Sandy Porter Rd. Charlotte, NC 28273. (704) 504-8500

A $30.00 minimum contribution per person is requested by those wishing to participate in the event.

We have formed a 501c3 charitable organization, Wellspring International Outreach, manned by volunteers from around the world to help support Sister Loretta and the children of Hogar Belen.

Wellspring has two main goals:
•the first is sustainable support from regular donations so as to ease the burden Sister Loretta faces caring for so many children;
•the second is raising funds to build a new home to safely house and educate the children

We need you to help us build a new home, and a chance of a stable childhood for the abandoned children of Moquegua with your generous donations.

Contributions can be made by cash or a check, made payable to: Wellspring International Outreach at event check-in, or on-line, via PayPal at www.wellspring-outreach.org, then click on the “YourHeart“ tab. Simply print out your receipt and bring it with you to check-in the morning of the ride.
