Hey CLASS mates,
So much has been going on lately, I don't know where to start, except that in just two weeks we'll be at Infineon Raceway! We have 8 spots open as of now and if you've been thinking about it, it's time to make it happen! If you've been around us for any time at all you know Infineon, Sears Point, is probably my very favorite track. If you love it too, or even if you have never been there, go for a nice easy ride around right now, grab a cuppa tea and jump on the back with Ted . Come on out and continue on the road to survival, confidence and fun with CLASS at Infineon Raceway - May 1.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of jumping on the VFR and going down to Jay Leno's garage to hang out with the guys. Jay Leno is known, in addition to hosting the Tonight Show, to being a Southern California fixture with regard to a pretty amazing car and motorcycle collection. It's not uncommon for Jay to turn up at different motorcycle events around SoCal. Jay recently added a racing sidecar to his collection which will be entered in the AHRMA racing out at Willow Springs in a couple of weeks. Because of my history in racing sidecars, a couple of weeks ago I had been invited down by some mutual friends to check it out and have a peek at the amazing Jay's Garage. I had taken Jay a copy of my book, Smooth Riding - the Pridmore Way, on that trip and Jay was impressed enough with the book that Saturday's trip brought the honor of sitting down with Jay for an interview for his "book club". Very shortly we will be up on his site, www.jaylenosgarage.com as we talk about some of the highlights. I will post a link when it goes live.
A big shout out to American Honda who has come back with some generous sponsorship of the CLASS program for 2012. We have some beautiful new CBRs in the program this year and we are quickly approaching window of time where if you buy a new 2012 Honda CBR1000RR, a CBR600RR or the cool new CBR250, you'll get a third off any CLASS school in 2012. As many of you already know, I am completely satisfied with my CBR600RR, and the new ones are even better! If you've been thinking about a new sportbike, be sure to put a new Honda at the top of that list and then in your garage, and when you come to CLASS, we will definitely help you ride it even better! In the meantime if you have questions about the deal, give me a call at the office.
Saturday, May 19th is the CLASS Seminar here at CLASS central at the Santa Paula Airport. Space is limited and we already have had terrific response. I will have some special guests and a lot of good motorcycle information and chat to chew on. It will run from 10 am to 1 pm and the cost is just $25. Make it a breakfast run with the crew and then get to SZP for the seminar! We'll have refreshments here too. Remember: don't wait, get signed up through the CLASS office. Gigi is waiting, pen at the ready, to put you on the list.
